Recent favourite products that I am loving! Benefit Cosmetics, Estée Lauder, Mac, Bumble and Bumble...

Hello my beautiful readers, I hope you are all well! This post is going to be an update on my recent favourite products that I have been trying out and fell in love with, from multiple brands...

As I have been working for  Benefit cosmetics for a few months now, I am very fond of all of their gorgeous cosmetic, skincare and body products so I will jump straight into a few of my recent favourites from Benefit.

Benefits skincare range is called B-right, all of the products are tailored towards hydration and radiance for the skin. Many people do not know that Benefit do Skincare so if you were one of those people who didn't know then you really should check it out at your nearest counter! As you can see from the pictures, the packaging is stunning; an apothecary style adds a unique twist to the baby blue glass bottles. They look lovely in your bathroom and I find that pretty packaging is always a temptation in itself when shopping!

If you have read my posts before you will have noticed by now that my skin type is dry, therefore I love all the hydration and moisture I can get!

Triple Performing Facial Emulsion is incredible-  it is a light moisturiser that is great for oily skin due to being completely Oil free. My dry skin loves the silky smooth finish it gives me. It is the perfect every day moisturiser and I am so pleased to have found it; the formula is enriched with Vitamin A and E , infused with a fresh floral and cucumber scent.
We do another moisturiser at Benefit called Total Moisture, this is more of a concentrated formula that is enriched with beautiful ingredients like Mango Butter. This will definitely be on my next Benefit order.

The second Benefit skincare product that I have fallen in love with is Refined Finish Facial Polish. This is an amazing facial exfoliator that treats the skin with plant derivatives and hydration. The mini micro beads are all the same size which gives you an even exfoliation. I am ashamed to say that exfoliating my face was never a part of my skincare routine before I owned this product, I love exfoliating my legs but I didn't realise how necessary it really was for the face! A part of me thinks that many of the facial scrubs out there look like they would do more damage than good to your skin as they contain large chunky beads in. However Benefit have got it perfect here with gentle micro beads that do not scratch or hurt the skin at all. I was amazed with the results from this product, from the first use I had brighter , more youthful looking skin.

I did post on instagram a few weeks ago when my Benefit delivery arrived and asked people what their favourite mascara was out of They're Real or Rollerlash! I have been using They're real for over a year and totally love the mega volume and unique brush shape. Who wouldn't love it, it is the UK's No.1 best selling mascara afterall right? HOWEVER, what can I say.... Rollerlash is my baby! I adore it, I love the sexy curl it gives my lashes, giving them that false lash effect! You guys will have to let me know your favourite out of the two as it's so interesting and fun to see what you benebabes think!

The other products from Benefit cosmetics in my favourites picture are The Big Beautiful Eyes kit and Rockateur lip gloss. They are some of my favourite products I love to wear on counter for work. The eye-shadow kit has some really pretty neutral shades in that are so wearable for a daytime look; though there's only three shades in there it is so easy to create numerous looks if your feeling creative and motivated! The matte chocolate brown can be used in the crease as a light brown, and built up / smoked out for a more night time look!  Rockateur gloss is stunning, its the perfect warm pinky brown/mauve gloss on the lips with flecks of gold shimmer in it, it's Rockateur blusher in gloss form, heaven! The lipgloss isn't sticky at all and is very pigmented for a gloss.

Onto the second brand, Estee Lauder, running back to the Skincare talk, I have recently been using the Advanced Night Repair Serum. I have a deluxe sample size bottle that has been sitting in my make up bag since last Christmas and I just never got around to using it until now. Well thank the lord I decided to give it a whirl because my skin is feeling very plump and smooth since using this in my skincare routine. I still want to use this for a few more weeks before I give my full opinion on it, so let me know in the comments below  if you would like to read a full review on it and I can sure get that done for you once I've used it long enough. I am seriously considering buying the full size serum but my only hesitation is the price- It retails at a pricey £48 and I don't fully know whether it is worth it or not! Please do let me know your thoughts on my little dilemma !

If you follow me on instagram you'll know I got this Mac highlighter in ' Global Glow', along with the Mac Warm Neutrals Palette, when I went shopping at the Metro centre with my boyfriend. This is honestly one of the most stunning highlighters I own. I much prefer it over Macs ' Soft and Gentle' as I have a medium tanned complexion. It gives you the most healthiest glow to the skin , amazing for a bronzed summer make up look! I literally cover myself in this highlighter as its so naturally pretty and creates a gorgeous dewy affect to the skin even though it is a powder!

This is Garniers Micellar Cleansing water that I randomly decided to buy at Boots after my shift one night since it was on offer. I do really like it as it takes off all make up so easily, including waterproof make up which is a bonus, without the need to add water! How convenient, right? Unlike many make up removers, it leaves your skin feeling really nice and hydrated instead of that awful tight/dry feeling many removers tend to give.

And last but certainly not least, my Bumble and Bumble Curl Conscious Defining Crème has changed my life, literally! So ever since I was little I had this horrible attitude towards my curly hair. It would never ever do what I wanted it to do , it was frizzy and uncontrollable and you would never have seen me with my natural hair in person! I used to always straighten my hair with GHD's as I couldn't stand my curls despite all of my family saying they love my natural curls way more. However , as I have grown older and invested into quality hair products, I much prefer my curls ! It still shocks me when I think about it for a moment, it is such a big change to my appearance in my opinion but I wouldn't have it any other way now. I love voluminous, curly textured hair and with this defining crème it is so easily achievable! You can apply it to dry or wet hair , it's totally up too you, but either way it adds definition to your curls and takes away all frizz!

I shall include a selfie of me with all of the mentioned products on, including my natural curly hair 💋

Thank you soo much for reading gorgeous people, lots of love, Em xxx

Building a Professional Freelance Makeup Kit...

Hello beautiful , I can't tell you how great it feels to be writing again! I have been so busy last month and this month with my freelance work , busy with mostly bridal work and occasion makeup - I just love my job! If you follow me on Instagram or have liked my MUA page you will already know about my recent news ... I have got a job at BENEFIT COSMETICS ! I am so thrilled and excited about it, I start working there on Monday at my local Boots store and will continue to do freelancing on the side . I have had a few questions about how to get a job at Benefit Cosmetics through social media and also questions on what the interview process is  like ... So if you do want a full blog post on how I got the job and what the process was like including the practical audition, let me know in the comments below and I will gladly get that post on here for you!

Anyway now that I've given you a little update as to where Ive been this month lets get back to what this blog post is really about- building a professional freelance makeup kit. Now this is something that needs to be planned well, you can always add extra fancy products to your kit as you go on but making sure your fully stocked up on the most essential things at all times - this is key when freelancing!

1. I would always suggest investing in a good makeup vanity case ...

I ordered my gorgeous purple crocodile textured case off ebay for only £20 - what a bargain right? I love my case and it has the perfect structure to it that allows me to organise my products efficiently , making them very accessible and simple when on a job.

2. Your tools - brushes, beauty blenders, tweezers, eyelash curlers, small makeup scissors, cotton wool  ...

It's really important that you have a variety of brushes and tools to take with you on any kind of makeup job ; you never know what your client is going to ask for so you need to be fully prepared. I would suggest looking into companies such as Crown and Real Techniques for your makeup brushes as they are so affordable yet amazing quality! The unbeatable prices really allows you to add and build to your brush collection- remember there's no point having the best makeup products if you  don't have the best tools and equipment to apply them with!

You will also need a brush role or makeup belt to store all of your brushes in and keep them organised , I started out using a brush role which did the job, however I now use my brush belt which I wear whilst on the job. It makes things so much easier and quicker as you just need to reach down for your brushes , making it relatively easy to alternate between several blending brushes when doing eye makeup.

3. Brush cleanser - this is crucial!

You must have a brush cleanser spray on you at all times , especially if you are doing more than one person on one job. It's essential to make sure you sanitize everything after using your brushes on someone to keep good hygiene and not spread or pass on bacteria.
I must admit cleaning your brushes isn't the most fun thing about being a makeup artist, it takes time and can be boring, but it is so necassary !

This is the Pro Hygiene Collection Makeup Brush and Sponge Sanitizing Wash 100ml which you can order online for around £8 . Mac do one for a few pounds more but they both honestly do the same job so there's no need in spending extra cash when it's not needed!

5. Skincare products...

Your job as a makeup artist is to enhance your clients natural beauty and help them achieve any makeup look they are wanting through the use of makeup. To achieve the best results you need to ensure you prep the skin well using skincare products. Your products need to be suitable for all of your clients therefore you must take into consideration that everyone has different needs when it comes to their skin. The products you use must have no perfumes or artificial colours , as well as no harsh chemicals, that way even the most sensitive of skintypes will not react.

I absolutely love using the Simple Skincare range that can be purchased at most stores like boots, superdrug , tesco ... Pretty much anywhere! There are no harsh chemicals and are fabulous on the skin. I always make sure I'm stocked up with their face cleanser , eye makeup remover, facial toner, hydrating moisteriser and their face wipes.

Not only will your clients skin get a gorgeous pampering, but this will help ensure their makeup applies well and lasts longer.

6. Foundation / concealers...

When freelancing it's important you remember you will be working with many clients who all have different skintypes  and undertones. It can be pricey when it comes to buying lots of different foundations to ensure you have all the shades you may possibly need , which is why I recommend investing into a great high quality foundation/ concealer palette. I use the RCMA foundation / concealer pallette. I couldn't recommended this amazing product enough, they have two palettes (one for warm undertones and one for cooler undertones) and both come with 18 different shades each . The foundation is a wax based formula and is 50% pigment - incredible ! Bare in mind your average liquid concealers you can buy in stores are only 10-20% pigmented so this palette really can cover anything from acne up to any darkness and scars. You are able to achieve medium to full coverage easily, and sheer to light coverage when mixed in with a moisteriser if needed. I believe I paid around £60 for one palette which has completly been worth my while as a freelancer , I always get compliments on my skin when I use it on myself and all my clients are impressed when I use this amazing foundation on them too!

I do carry around random bottles of Estée Lauder doublewear foundation and Maybelline Fit Me in my kit just Incase I feel they would be better but you can always add these extra backups to your kit gradually as you start to earn back your money.

7. Face powders - setting powders, bronzers, blush ...

When it comes to setting powders I use the Mac mineralize skinfinishes as I love the finish they give or Benefits POREfessional agent zero shine translucent powder which is so versatile. For your starter kit I would recommend buying one translucent powder so you an use it on all skintones and then gradually buy different shades when you have extra cash !

As for bronzers Im totally in love with Benefits Hoola Bronzer - who isn't? I would recommend this as it's suitable for all skintones and is matte , other great ones I love are Macs matte bronze and give me sun...

I tend to use all Mac Blushers in my freelance kit at the minute as im obssessed with them, if you can afford to buy a few singular blushers for your kit from Mac they will last you a very long time and be worthwhile! Crown, the brush company I recommend to you; also do makeup and have a blush palette which is very affordable and Ive heard great things about... That would be a great starting point if you didn't know where to go in terms of singular blushers from high end stores like Mac and Benefit .

8. Eyeshadows , mascara , eyeliner  ...

Palettes are incredibly useful when it comes to eyeshadows. I would recommend looking into palettes such as the Urban Decay Naked Range - these palettes are amazing quality and provide you with a variety of different shades .

Another palette I love for eyeshadows is the Motives Maven Palette which many of my brides have been loving this year. I have blog reviews on both the urban decay and motives palette so be sure to check those out if interested!

As for mascara and eyeliner , all brands sell great mascaras and eyeliner pencils so take your pick  , black of course is the most popular colour. I do like to have one brown and one black mascara on me when freelancing, it's just nice to have the option of brown. The only important thing you need to remember is that you must always use a new disposable mascara wand for each customer so that no germs or bacteria are crossed over!

9. Lipsticks - possibly my favourite beauty product! Did I really just say that?

I would say it's important to have a variety of colours in your kit as you never know what colour your client is going to fancy. Id recommend having at least two bold dark lipsticks , maybe a dark brown and a dark burgandy purple , one dark and one light pink, a nude and maybe a orange coral shade ... Don't forget you can always layer lipsticks to create new shades so have a play around with what you have and make use of mixing products !

Just incase your interested I will list below the names of the lipsticks I have in the above picture , from Left to right :

Yves Saint Laurent No.2 from their Rouge Volupté Shine collection

•  Mac Viva Glam III

• Mac Diva

• Mac Half 'N Half

• Mac Snob

• Mac Rebel

• Mac Mehr

• Mac Diva ( again , I have two )

• Mac Pink Nouveau

• Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick No. 730 Revlon Red

• Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick No. 006 Really Red

I always use lip pencils as I think they provide a clean sharp look to the lip but of course that is a personal preference, as a starter kit Id recommend having at least three lip pencils ( one dark purple, one medium pink and one nude brown )

10. A diary to keep record of all your makeup bookings ...

I know this isn't a product or something that's technically in your kit, but it is something very important that all makeup artists need , especially when freelancing and not working in a salon. You will need to keep record of any bookings you have; people tend to book in advance especially when it comes to weddings and proms , and it can be very hard to keep track of what your doing without a diary. It is also very useful to make note of payments and deposits so that you are clear on how much your charging, who has paid you and how much they have to pay left. This way you are going to look very professional and organised.

Those are my top tips on building a freelance makeup kit. Now that we've got the essentials out of the way , here are some extra things you may want to add to your kit once you start earning your money back...
Lashes are a great extra to have in your kit, it offers something extra special to your client and they also enhance your makeup look- great for portfolio work. I tend to get mine from Eylure as they do a wide range of lashes that are stunning, so wispy and natural. Boots often have 3 for 2 deals on beauty products so that's the perfect time to stock up on lashes!

Though your clients skin is sure to be prepped and primed well after using toner and moisteriser, you may want to go that extra mile and invest in a good face primer. This maybelline baby skin primer retails at £7.99 in Boots and works really well as a base for your makeup and is relatively inexpensive. It's good to have extra handy products in cases where your client may have extremely oily skin and have told you that they rely on face primers .

You could eventually splash out some money on some gorgeous Mac pigments , I totally love using these pigments on my clients for when they want that extra sparkle , they are incredibly easy to blend , and look so stunning since the fine particles really catch the light on the eyelid! Great for photography ! Mac sell them all separately and have a wide variety of shades for you to choose from. Glitters are an extra product that can add something different and unique to your everyday makeup.

It's important to have the essentials and then buy extra nice things to add to your kit. You will need to invest your own money into building a professional kit over time and it can be hard work as there are a lot of things needed , but once you start earning your money back through makeup jobs it all becomes a lot easier and you'll enjoy buying new additions to your makeup collection.

I hope you found this blog post useful and interesting, please let me know in the comments below what your thoughts are and if you have anything extra to add. Also let me know your thoughts on wether you'd like a blog post about how I got the job at Benefit Cosmetics!

Lots of love ️xxx

Nars sheer glow foundation!

Hello again! I am back with another foundation review ... I am always on the hunt for the 'perfect' foundation to give the appearance of healthy flawless skin , I think your foundation really makes a difference in your makeup as it is your base to build upon and work with. If you have read my previous blog post Guide to finding the right foundation for you! you will have read about the three foundations I love and would recommend but this one from Nars truly blows them out of the water now ! I absolutely love this foundation and it is by far the best one I have ever tried. There was so much hype about this foundation a while back and I guess I have been missing out, having only just purchased it a few weeks ago when I was in London. What can I say , it is a pretty pricey foundation retailing at £31 from stores such as Space.NK and House Of Fraser ... But without a doubt completely worth every penny!

We all want that flawless face that this foundation can easily provide , the glow element is just a extra bonus ! The more layers of the foundation you apply , the more the luminosity of the formula can be noticed which is truly stunning. Despite having ' Sheer ' in its title, this foundation is definitely a medium coverage that is buildable to full coverage; I would say that if you mixed the foundation with a moisteriser you would be able to get more of a sheer coverage if that's what you were after ... So really you can't go wrong with this foundation can you? The title is a little misleading as you would primarily assume the foundation is very light and sheer , however it is a thick consistency to me. This doesn't bother me as you don't feel weighing you down on the skin and it doesn't cake up if applied properly.

I would only recommend this to those with normal- dry skin as the dewy finish will amaze you and the formula is naturally hydrating; the formula would be a hot mess on oily skin and would just slip and slide off.  If you are oily and now feel left out there's no need to panick, Nars do have a sheer matte foundation formula which has all the same benefits as this one,  just without the glow which of course you wouldn't need! Don't worry girls Nars has got your back!

My favourite way to apply this foundation is to use my real techniques expert face brush and push the foundation into the skin using pressing motions , this helps to achieve more of a  full coverage look.

I also like to use my C404 Small duo fibre face brush to buff this into the skin using light  circular motions ; this application method achieves a medium coverage with a beautiful airbrushed finish that really compliments the luminosity of the foundation.

Here is a selfie I took after using the foundation, I have finished off my makeup  with other products but did not need to use a concealer for my dark circles as the foundation coverage is amazing  ! Oh and just incase you were curious , my shade is in Stromboli , it matches me perfect as the undertone of the foundation is warm and yellow based. Nars has a huge variety of shades so there will be a perfect match for you too!

Thank you for reading the blog post , let me know what you think and also what your favourite foundation is ... Id love to hear from you! Xxx

Motives Cosmetics

Hello gorgeous , thank you for taking a look at this blog post! It's been too long since I last posted and that was because I went to London to spend some time with my family who live there still; it was lovely seeing all my family there and spending time with them!

This post however isn't about my london trip , as you can tell from the title it's about Motives cosmetics by Loren Ridinger!! I'm so excited to tell you my first impression on trying their products.

So this company is huge in America and is currently becoming well known in the U.K. for their chic, high quality products. I  had heard of Motives cosmetics through MUAs on YouTube and particularly loved the look of the eyeshadows, however I assumed that I cannot purchase these in the U.K. Thankfully I was contacted my a Motives beauty adviser called Lisa who works for the company , inviting me to sample their products . Lisa was a stunning lady and I'm very thankful she informed me that they have a website you can order from and the shipping usually takes about two days!

Down to the juicy bit, did I think their products were fabulous? Yes !! I honestly was blown away by how gorgeous their products are , not only by the packaging but the quality too!

Look at their skincare range , the packaging is beautiful ! They have a whole range of skincare products that help to rejuvenate, soothe, moisturise and protect your precious skin.

These are pictures from the catalogue she gave me and I now wish I had took a picture of the products when I was sampling them , but that is the packaging of the single eyeshadows , sleek black with a see- through frosty top... Very ideal for us makeup artists so you can see which colour you need straight away rather than rummaging through all the colours ! The eyeshadows were honestly so creamy and very  pigmented , I fell in love with this green shade called Green Apple, it was very unique and I have never seen a shade quite like it before! They have a variety of colours for you to experiment with , matte or shimmery , there's something for everyone no matter what look your going for!

Lisa so generously sent me their new Mavens Element Color Box palette that I fell in love with when searching the shadows , believe me it's gorgeous, I even created a look with it to show you!

Names of the shadows from left to right :

Top row:
• Birch
• Native
• Aubergine
• Raven

Bottom row:
• Shell
• Serene
• Bordeaux
• Truffle

My first impression just by looking at the palette was unique ! It has the most stunning unique shades in which intrigued me. The size of the pans too also amazed me as they remind me of the Anastasia Beverly Hills single shadows , they are typically larger compared to single shadows from popular places like Mac, Urban Decay etc ...

As you can see from the picture , they're so pigmented ! The top row are matt shades and the bottom row are shimmer / sheen... I love the fact the two bottom shades in the left corner can actually be used as skin highlighters , the lightest shimmer one is called shell and that is what I used as my cheekbone highlighter ! The second darkest one called serene would be beautiful as a highlighter for darker skintones than me . The palette deserves top marks from me ,I  love a universal product , it's not only handy when I'm feeling lazy but of course handy when I'm on a makeup job!

To achieve this lovely rosey eye , I used the matte cream shade birch for my brow bone highlight , I think a matte brow bone highlight is much more appropriate for the day time, I'd go for the shimmer highlighter for a night out .

I then used native in my crease for my transition colour , I must say this could replace my Transition shade Ive been using for years called Wedge From Mac as this formula is so creamy and blendable !

The second shimmer shade serene was pact on all over my lid, I made sure I did not go any higher than my crease.

I then used my favourite shade Bordeaux on the outer part of my eye and in the crease to add depth and definition. I smoked this out with a blending brush.

That is exactly how I achieved my look using this palette ! This is only one look of many that you could create with the palette and I would highly recommend this to anybody!

I hope you liked this blog post guys , I absolutely LOVE discovering new brands and trying their products , I look forward too trying many of their other products as there's such a huge range . Feel free to let me know what you think and thank you again for reading my blog ️xxx

December Favourites!

Hi everyone, I hope you all have had an amazing christmas and got to spend some quality time with your friends and family! I certainly did have a lovely christmas and boxing day with my family. My gorgeous little sister loved all of her presents off Santa as she was spoilt rotten! Thats what christmas is all about for me, seeing her face light up on the morning when she sees father christmas has paid a visit. We went round to my lovely aunties house for boxing day where all the family got together and had a good time. It made me realise that we need to get together more often and share more memories as at the end of the day, family is the most important. I am very lucky to have a beautiful family and I am going to make sure I make time to see more of them more often in the new year.

I am excited to post this 'December favourites' post as I have some gorgeous beauty products that I have been obsessed with this month! Some of them are gifts I got for christmas that I am in love with already and some are products I have loved using particularly in the cold wintery month of December.

I think I'll start with my favourite of them all! I mentioned these in my last post and thanks to my boyfriend , I am so lucky to have got these as a gift! These are the Mac objects of affection pigments in Bronze. Ohh myy! Just look at them , I am in love ...Very well done Mac! Not only is the packaging perfection, but the colours are stunning! In this set , you get 4 pigments and one glitter. I honestly don't know how my boyfriend knew to get these for me .. Bless his lovely heart.. I think he pays extra attention to anything I mention when it comes to Christmas as I am one of those girls that don't like asking for anything of him or telling him what I like , but somehow he always does so well.

Above are some swatches of the pigments. As you can see they are truly stunning and very pigmented ! They almost have a metallic finish that looks stunning on the eye with black gel liner! From left to right in the picture , the pigments are : Melon, Naked deep dark, copper, 3D copper ( glitter ) and last chocolate brown. These are my first ever Mac pigments so I am over the moon.

I recieved two Mac blushes , one from my boyfriend and one from my kind mother. They are actually very similar in colour only the one on the right in the shade Ambering rose is more shimmery and has chunkier glitter in. The blush on the left is a Pro longwear blush in the shade 'Make you mine'

Above are swatches of Ambering rose and Make you mine , the shimmery one on the top is Ambering rose ; a gorgeous sheertone shimmer blush with gold glitter in-great for girly nights out!  The blush is beautifully pigmented and looks very illuminating on the skin. Make you mine is a Pro longwear blush and it certainly does live up to the mark; it lasts all day
( even during my busy days at work ) It does not have chunky glitter in but does have small flecks of rose gold in that highlights the skin beautifully. Both blushes are stunning and have deep peach undertones to them. I'd say they'd suit olive/ tan to dark skintones , possibly lighter skintones but with a very light hand.

These two beautiful lipsticks had to be in my December favourites ! As you probably know from my previous posts, I LOVE dark lips for fall , well for anytime of year if I'm honest but fall is when you can really get away with a dark lip without being looked at strange ( girls you know what I mean)

Viva Glam III is a gorgeous Matt lipstick; it is a perfect dark mauve lipstick with reddy brown undertones . This lipstick is creamy and as all the mac lipsticks I've used , it never fails to last all day long!
Rebel is a very famous Mac lipstick, one of the most popular purple lipsticks in fact! It is similar to Diva in the fact that it's a dark purple , but diva has more of a red undertone. I would say rebel is more of a vibrant purple/pink undertone but still comes off dark and vampy. Rebel is a satin finish; it does look slightly glossy but feels lovely on the lips and lasts all day too!  I absolutely love wearing these lipsticks - I think lipsticks are my favourite!

I got this brow gel in my September Glossy box but I never found a love for it up until now. I love the small brush that allows easy access to apply the product. The brow gel is tinted dark brown and adds a great fuller appearance to my brows.

What can I say , I love this concealer!! This is the Age rewind concealer from Maybelline in the shade light. I have used this concealer constantly under my eyes and on the high points of the face on myself and clients for a gorgeous highlight. I still use the prolongwear concealer from Mac to conceal imperfections on the face as always , but this maybelline concealer is light and great for highlighting.

This is the Telescopic extra black mascara from Lorèal; I adore this product! This mascara is her black , and I mean black! It has a skinny long brush which may look strange , but I honestly have never got better results from any other mascara ever before . This produces curled , volumised and long lengthened lashes that really opens up the eye and makes such a difference. I will forever be re purchasing this product - I love finding great drugstore products and saving moneyyyyy!

This is a cream blush from Gosh , a drugstore product that I love using. It is perfect for those natural make up looks when you aren't going for anything dramatic , but still want to look fresh and healthy. I have loved using this cream blush on those days when it's been too cold and rainy to bother doing fancy gorgeous make up, and the great thing is it takes two seconds to glide on the cheeks and blend out with your fingers!

Finally, my last three beauty products are body and haircare ones. Like most girls I am a huge fan of soap and glory! I use soap and glory all year round but the ' Scrub of your life ' and ' Hand food ' products have been my favourite this month for winter. I hate having dry cold hands from the cold weather so I always keep a travel size hand food in my bag! It's a great nourishing hand cream that really moisterises and revives the hands.

The scrub of your life is an amazing body scrub ! I'd say body scrubs are my favourite body product as I love using them and coming out of the bath with literally new skin!! This scrub genuinely makes my skin feel as smooth as a baby and I adore it!

Lastly, the haircare product I am loving his month is Umberto Giannini's Flirty Curls scrunching jelly...  I have naturally curly hair that can get pretty crazy and hard to handle at times so I have always been one to adore staraughtebing my hair with ghds ... However , the last few weeks I have decided to embrace my natural curly hair so it was a must that I invested in something that will tame and look after my curls so I don't scare of my friends and family hahaa! This jelly seems to tame frizziness and it helps hold my curls all day , I love it! It's a must have for us curly sue's out there!

Wow ! I have just realised how long this post is ... It's clear I love to talk about makeup! I'd like to say thank you very much if you did actually read this post right to the end and I'd love to hear your December favourites in the comments box below , or even let me know your opinions on the products I have mentioned!

I hope you all have a fantastic new year and may 2015 bring you all the happiness and pretty makeup in the world! Lots of love xxx
